With the motor attachment, the Lilienthal 40 RC becomes a fully-fledged electric glider model. This means that the model can also be flown on the plane without a high take-off device.
The aerodynamic motor attachment was designed in such a way that gliding in the updraft is possible without any problems. The cable is routed inside the motor attachment so that no cables hang freely and are neatly inserted into the fuselage of the model.
The kit consists of various wooden parts, a brushless motor and controller specially made for this model and a folding propeller with spinner. A blade stop for the folding propeller is also included.
The motor attachment can be retrofitted for all Lilienthal 40 RC models and can be purchased individually. An additional advantage is that the motor attachment can also be used universally on other flight models of this type and class.
A 2S Lipo with 500mAh (not included) is suitable as a drive battery. A BEC plug for the drive battery is already soldered to the controller so that the complete drive unit can be used without soldering. All cable lengths are prefabricated to fit exactly.
