The Möwe 2 was modeled on a small North Sea fishing trawler, which is caught in large numbers on the local coasts. Due to its simple structure, the seagull is an ideal model for beginners in model making or for promoting young talent in a club. The seagull is made entirely of wood. All components are precisely cut with the laser and therefore hardly require any rework. The hull is planked with A-TEX, a new and unique building material that is very easy to work with and that gives the hull the necessary strength. The mast, trees and exhaust pipe are made of aluminum and contribute to the attractive appearance of the model. The prototypical character of the seagull is underlined by the net winch made of precisely cut plywood parts and the three wooden boxes for the caught fish.
